The signature set

A soft-gel set, painted by hand

Soft-gel extensions in the shape and length you pick, with art painted freehand from your reference. It suits anyone who wants a design that no one else has.

Most clients book a painted set the first time. We settle the details before the day, so the table time goes to the art.

  • Almond, ballerina, stiletto or squoval

  • Short to extra long

  • Plain color to a full custom design

At the visit

Four steps, with the time each takes

  1. 01
    About 30 min

    Step 1: Prep and shape

Your artist looks at your natural nails, removes any old work and buffs them smooth.

  2. 02
    About 45 min

    Step 2: Build the length

Soft-gel extensions go on in the shape and length you chose and are shaped by hand.

  3. 03
    1 to 2 hr

    Step 3: Paint the art

The design is painted nail by nail, with fine brushes. This is the longest step.

  4. 04
    About 30 min

    Step 4: Finish and set

Chrome or a top coat goes on and each layer is set under the lamp, so the nails are dry when you leave.

What sets the time

What makes a set longer or shorter

The booking page shows the studio's price for the set you choose. These are the things that change it.

  • Length

Each step longer adds time to build and shape.

  • Shape

Stiletto and ballerina take longer to shape than squoval.

  • Art level

From one color to a different design on every nail.

  • Finish

Chrome, cat-eye, charms and raised pieces are added and timed.

  • Removal

Taking off work done elsewhere is booked first.

  • Your artist

Each artist's level is shown when you book.

Removal and aftercare

Book removal first, and tell us about a lifted nail

If your nails were done somewhere else, book removal first so we have the time to take it off gently.

Please don't pull off gel yourself. If a nail lifts or chips, tell us within a week and we will look at it. A fill every two to three weeks keeps the set neat, and we tell you when yours is due.

  • Removal of other work is its own booking

  • Tell us within a week about a lifted nail

  • Fills every two to three weeks

    Phuong Banh

    Owner and lead artist

    • Manicurist license · WA Lic. # 000000

Phuong opened the studio to paint the way she was taught: freehand, one nail at a time. She does florals, characters and full custom sets from a reference. Phuong speaks Vietnamese and English.

  • Xuan Thach

    Artist, fine line and florals

Xuan paints fine line work: small flowers, lace and thin outlines on almond and squoval nails. Many regulars book her by name. Xuan speaks Vietnamese and some English.

  • Nail artist with long braids in a linen apron, resting an arm on a white counter

    London Parham

    Artist, chrome, charms and 3D

London builds the sets with texture: chrome and cat-eye finishes, small charms and raised 3D pieces on ballerina and stiletto lengths. London speaks English.
